Ministry Experience

Allison Park Church Executive Pastor 2013 – Present

  • Implementation of systems and structure in an organization of 1,700 in weekly attendance. 
  • Lead staff meetings.
  • Oversight of large church staff.
  • Regular preaching and teaching opportunities.
  • Board of Stewardship and Executive Board involvement.
  • Preparation and oversight of the organizational budget of $2.7 million (including ministry,operations and staffing).
  • Coordination of several campuses in a multi-site environment.
  • Provide counsel and direction for individuals dealing with a variety of issues, including marriage and family, addictions, etc..

Allison Park Church Next Generation Pastor / Ministry School Director 2007 - 2012

  • Served as the first Director of ministry school while continuing as the Next Gen Pastor (see below). 
  • The school was patterned from Mission SOS based out of Sweden. 
  • Adapted the concept to current environment and about 200 people have attended since its inception. 
  • Through a partnership with the Pennsylvania Delaware District of the Assemblies of God, we have seen many students become credentialed ministers
  • The school continues to be strong and has over 30 students enrolled for the 2017-2018 year.

Allison Park Church Next Generation Pastor 2003 – 2012

  • Led all ministries that served people 18 years old and below. 
  • Oversight of about 600 people every week. Sometimes the weekly ministry oversight exceeded 1,000 people (Upward basketball season).
  • Helped launch an Upward basketball program that has continued to grow and has a current registration of over 450 kids every year.
  • Launched big outreach events such as Easter Egg Hunts and Candytown (a life-size game based off of “Candyland” with characters, etc.).  These were catalysts for record-setting attendance weekends.

Allison Park Church Youth Ministry Pastor / Master's Commission Director 1998 - 2002

  • Continued to be the youth pastor and also launched a Master’s Commission ministry as well as an intern program.  
  • During this time we acquired a building and renovated it for the youth ministry as well as the Master’s Commission students.  
  • The youth group grew to over 200 students on a weekly basis.  
  • We had evangelistic outreach events that exceeded 450 students at times.  Many were coming to Christ and lives were being changed.

Allison Park Church Youth Ministry Pastor 1995 – 2001

  • Led the youth ministry when it was a single group of around 50 middle school and high school students (combined).
  • Separated the middle school ministry from high school ministry.
  • Personally led the high school ministry and developed a leader for the middle school ministry.
